Terms and Agreement of Yoga Life Membership
General Terms: This is a twelve month commitment. You agree to pay $89.00 via credit card for each of the twelve months of this contract. Your first payment may include a prorated month and a full month. Payment due dates are the 20th of each month. (EX: If you sign up Jan 15th, you will be prorated the 4 days ($11.67) and pay $89 for your first full month. Then it’s simply $89/month) After the 12th month commitment is reached, your account automatically renews on a month-to-month basis at $89.00 each month unless a 30 day notice is given to cancel the account. Early cancellation results in $89/month fee until year ends plus $35 admin fee.
Locks Your Price in! This program may rise in price in the future, you are grandfathered in at this price. If this program lowers, you will receive the lower rate.
Default and Late Payments: A default occurs when any payment due under this agreement is more than ten days late. Should a monthly payment become more than ten days late, you will be charged a late fee of $35 automatically. No payment within 30 days – the contract is deemed as broken by student and remainder of year will be charged and is collectible in full. An additional service fee will be assessed for any payment returned for insufficient funds or any other reason. That cost is the cost passed on to us by our merchant processor. These fees will be charged to your credit card on file.
Notifications:
- For changes to bank/credit card account the member must notify us at least 14 days prior to the next scheduled auto-pay.
- For freezing your $89/month account member must notify us within 14 days. You are entitled to two 2-week freezes per year. You will receive a confirmation that it has been received. Additional freezes are subject to a $20 fee per each additional 4-week freezes. Notices made in less than 14 days cannot take effect in time and cannot be honored
- For cancellation of your membership you must notify us via email within 30 days of next auto renewal. No cancellations can be honored during the first 12 months
Clearly indicate “Membership Change,” “Membership Freeze or “Membership Cancellation,” as subject heading of email to our studio email on our Contact page. In turn, Grounded by Yoga will send a confirmation via email after the changes have been made to the account. Member agrees that it could take up to 3 business days to receive a response from Grounded by Yoga. Once member has submitted an email request for any changes to membership, it is the member’s responsibility to ensure that Grounded by Yoga has responded to the same email account to confirm processing the request. We generally respond in the same day.
Miscellaneous: Class schedule is subject to change without notice or close due to winter storms, holidays, teacher changes. Grounded by Yoga is not responsible for acts of God, pandemics, uncontrollable changes. We shall provide an online platform for as many classes as we can should we need to. Your pass is good for online or in person. Memberships cannot be refunded, transferred, exchanged, shared or early cancelled. If you encounter an injury, that’s what Yoga is for and GBY is a traditional studio. We can guide you to the appropriate class and/or teacher. You may come to more than one class per day as of 9/1/18 (we improved our services to you!)
