First Friday: Spinal Alignment
The spine is our core in Yoga. It has deep meaning on a subtle level as well as gross level.
Yoga postures “stem” from the spine! We never want to have ‘perfect arms and legs’ for the sake of the Axis (spine).
Who should come? Students seeking to learn or fine tune spinal alignment in poses ranging from seated twists to standing rotations!

Second Friday: Upper Body
The upper body speaks to the world. How is our posture? Is our heart space open? Are our arms strong?
Upper body includes shoulders, upper spine, chest and side torso (important for proper breathing).
Who should come? Do you find our self slouched over a lot? Do you have a desire for a lighter upper body? Do you need a lift in your mood?

Third Friday: Hips
Oh the hips! Yoga says that our thoughts are matter. And all matter has weight. Lower vibrational thoughts sit in our hips. Let’s release.
Expect a full-on hip opening focus. The hip has so many sides to them.
Who should come? Come one come all. However, if you are an expecting mom – please get a Dr’s release. Also- since this is solely hips – if knee flexion is painful, this may not be for you at this time. Limited range is fine, but painful knees may not like this class. Feel free to come to any other class on our calendar.

Fourth Friday: Lower Body
Let’s be grateful for our lower body that takes us all over the place on this earth!
We have lots of tools, porps, tricks up our sleeves for the lower body. Heck, standing in one yoga pose for along time creates strength and circulation. I promise to also stretch out the lower body.
Who should come? Winter is coming…ice and slippery spots. The most sprained part of the body is the ankle. This class is for those seeking lower body strength and flexibility to keep us safe and free.

Bonus Fifth Friday: Anything Goes!
Open to requests! Or it will simply be a potluck surprise. Perhaps a class decorated with all 4 focuses. Promise you are in good hands.
Who should come? You. This is for everyone.
