Health facilities worldwide have implanted this program. A super modality to assist in balance and over all wellness. Why is it great for arthritis? The slow, fluid movements draw the synovial fluid build away from the inflamed joints. You should experience a noticeable difference at the end (and before) of this 8 week session.
This is an all-standing program (no floor work). Student may also sit in a chair. Clean indoor shoes only (or barefoot). Dress for comfort.

Our Yoga programs are for every body. Grounded by Yoga shares a Yoga/Meditation is for healing internally and/or externally. It is non-competitive; thereby everyone practices at his or her own pace. Your guides are particularly aware of the individual needs and abilities of each student. Yoga & Meditation are a process, not a goal. You will be in a compassionate environment filled with support and other students that are beginner’s too! We are practicing to wake up to our own beauty and capacities and also to the beauty around us.
All we need to do is to come back to our breathing and body in the present moment and then we are wide awake to experience what is happening inside us and around us.
Our intention in the Beginner Yoga & Yoga/Meditation Series is to develop a lifelong living and love of yoga/meditation. It’s never ever too late.

More than a class, this is an experience! A GBY signature program by offered by certified restorative yoga teachers of Sandy’s “Healing through Stillness” program.
Restorative yoga poses require no muscular exertion. Supported by blankets, bolsters of all shapes and sizes. Each pose and each breath serves to lead you further up the ladder of expanded awareness.
Each posture provides a floating affect and carefully placed positioning of the bodies enhances receptors within that assist in your experience. How is this different than Yin Yoga? Yin Yoga provides deep stretching activating the sympathetic nervous system, Restorative Yoga, nothing is stretching, therefore activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
Teachers may incorporate guided imagery and journeys, meditation, aromatherapy, gentle grounding touch as well as a few surprises. No yoga or meditation experience is needed.
Offered 1-2 times per month ($40). Normally this fills fast. Please see our live calendar , go to the exact date and book your session. You can also call 585-861-9642 and charge by phone.

More than a class, this is an experience! A GBY signature program by offered by certified restorative yoga teachers of Sandy’s “Healing through Stillness” program.
Restorative yoga poses require no muscular exertion. Supported by blankets, bolsters of all shapes and sizes. Each pose and each breath serves to lead you further up the ladder of expanded awareness.
Each posture provides a floating affect and carefully placed positioning of the bodies enhances receptors within that assist in your experience. How is this different than Yin Yoga? Yin Yoga provides deep stretching activating the sympathetic nervous system, Restorative Yoga, nothing is stretching, therefore activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
Teachers may incorporate guided imagery and journeys, meditation, aromatherapy, gentle grounding touch as well as a few surprises. No yoga or meditation experience is needed.
Offered 1-2 times per month ($40). Normally this fills fast. Please see our live calendar and go to the exact date to book.

Our Yoga programs are for every body. Grounded by Yoga shares a Yoga/Meditation is for healing internally and/or externally. It is non-competitive; thereby everyone practices at his or her own pace. Your guides are particularly aware of the individual needs and abilities of each student. Yoga & Meditation are a process, not a goal. You will be in a compassionate environment filled with support and other students that are beginner’s too! We are practicing to wake up to our own beauty and capacities and also to the beauty around us.
All we need to do is to come back to our breathing and body in the present moment and then we are wide awake to experience what is happening inside us and around us.
Our intention in the Beginner Yoga & Yoga/Meditation Series is to develop a lifelong living and love of yoga/meditation. It’s never ever too late.

Please arrive between 6:45 and 7:00 so we can start promptly at 7:00pm.
The beat, the song, the Vibrations of the Drum draw us fully into the present moment. As we Drum into the Now, we resonate with, and synchronize to, the Rhythms and Vibrations both within us and around us. This way, we connect more deeply to ourSelf and to Oneness with All That Is.
P.S… It’s FUN!
No experience is needed ~ All abilities are welcome!
A wide array of Drums/Percussion Instruments will be provided… bring your own, if You like!
A Drum circle is a group of people that come together to play hand-drums and/or various other percussion instruments with the instruction and guidance of a facilitator. Drum circles are a non-verbal expression of self, and give people a sense of community and belonging because the goal is to work together as one to create a musical experience.
Anyone, even with no training in music, can participate in a drum circle! There are no mistakes!
Studies have shown that drum circles:
· Reduce stress
· Reduce anxiety levels
· Lower blood pressure
· Lower depression levels
· Raise self-esteem & confidence
· Give people a sense of community and belonging
And… They are a lot of FUN!
