Yoga Breath & Basics - 75 Minutes This class is for the Beginner or refresher. Yoga starts with a good foundation. Learn the basics of Yoga. Become familiar with the class flow and sequence. Learn the fundamentals of each asana with a good understanding of alignment and awareness in each asana. Next Beginner's series commences April 12th, 2010 at 5:30 . Each class is anchored by a variety of relaxation techniques.. I limit Beginner's classes to 6 so that I may give attention needed to each and every student. Gentle Yoga & Stretch - 60 Minutes A very Gentle approach to Yoga. These are not just basic stretches. There intention is to detoxify and nourish the body's organs. We'll do some standing stretches as well as seated stretches anchored with a final relaxation. No experience necessary. Mixed Level Yoga - 75 Minutes This class is open to ALL levels of students (basic experience necessary) from the beginner to the experienced. This Yoga class is a sequence of asanas (poses) that are held for a minimum of 5 breaths. We'll let with Sun Salutations warm you and throw in a vinyasa now and then. The point of awareness in this class is the union of the breath, body, and mind. A practice of being in the Present Moment. Learn to get out of the way to find your true self. Yoga Power Flow - 75 Minutes A balance of physical challenge, emotional depth, and simple playfulness; This class involves powerful flowing yoga. Most power yoga is closely modeled on the Ashtanga style of practice. Unlike Ashtanga, power yoga does not follow a set series of poses. Therefore, any power yoga class can vary widely from the next. What they have in common is an emphasis on strength and flexibility. Vinyasa Flow class for experienced students. For students with a strong practice and knowledge of the alignment principles. Oh yes, lots of Sun Salutations and Vinyasas! Modifications will be offered for those not as familiar with Power Vinyasa Sunrise Yoga - 60 Minutes Salute the Sun! Start the day out right. Carry the Inner Peace with you throughout your day! All levels welcomed. MUST sign up prior to Monday 6pm via email or call (585) 703-4676 if interested. Shhhhh.....Quiet Yoga - 120 Minutes ($15 - cannot use punch card) Rest, restore and relax = Rejuvenation. A powerful class of what I like to call Quiet Yoga or Mindful Relaxation. Let the props do the work. No experience necessary. Private Lessons (various prices) A private lesson will be a yoga lesson of any type and any level as well as special needs Yoga such as Pre Natal, Depression, Arthritis, etc. $60per hr. (In your home add $10) Add a friend for only $15. Meditation Nights ($10 - may use punch card) An evening for all level students to come together and practice meditation.
